Responsibility
- Lead the design and development of mobility experience features for new and existing vehicle models, focusing on user interaction, accessibility, and comfort.
- Collaborate with R&D, design, and manufacturing teams to integrate innovative mobility solutions into vehicle architectures.
- Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) to create detailed 3D models, prototypes, and technical drawings for mobility systems.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and refine mobility features based on real-world feedback.
- Develop and implement ergonomic and safety standards for vehicle interiors, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Optimize vehicle entry/exit systems, seating configurations, and cargo space for enhanced user convenience.
- Stay abreast of emerging mobility trends (e.g., autonomous features, shared mobility, ADAS) and propose innovative solutions.
- Prepare and present technical reports, design proposals, and progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive product design, mobility systems, or vehicle development.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar) and 3D modeling tools.
- Strong understanding of ergonomics, human factors, and user-centered design principles in automotive applications.
- Experience with prototyping, testing, and validation of mobility features in a production environment.
- Familiarity with automotive industry standards (ISO, SAE, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
