Responsibility
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on plant machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in production equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to identify potential failures and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the production team to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, spare parts usage, and equipment history.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during maintenance operations.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians and production staff on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
