Responsibility
- Develop detailed 3D models in Tekla Structures for concrete and masonry structures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Generate precise material takeoffs and quantity estimates to support cost planning and procurement.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate BIM models with other disciplines (e.g., MEP, structural).
- Review and validate models for clash detection and constructability, resolving discrepancies proactively.
- Prepare shop drawings and fabrication details for concrete and masonry components.
- Optimize models for structural efficiency and material usage while adhering to industry standards (e.g., ACI, Eurocodes).
- Maintain organized version control and documentation for all BIM deliverables.
- Stay updated on Tekla Structures updates and BIM best practices to enhance workflow productivity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Tekla Structures Modeler, with a focus on concrete and masonry projects.
- Proficiency in Tekla Structures (latest versions) and familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, or Navisworks is a plus.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience with BIM 360, Solibri, or similar collaboration tools for model coordination.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure error-free deliverables.
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills to meet project deadlines in a remote setting.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) for effective communication with global teams.
