In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods, managing import/export processes, and optimizing supply chain operations. Responsibility
- Oversee and coordinate all shipping and logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Manage import/export documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with international trade regulations.
- Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Monitor and report on shipping performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all shipping activities.
- Resolve any shipping-related issues or delays promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventories, and logistics expenses.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior logistics staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade compliance.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with Incoterms and international shipping documentation.
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and train team members.
