Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive verification plans for digital IP blocks and SoC architectures using industry-standard tools (e.g., UVM, SystemVerilog).
- Collaborate with design and architecture teams to define and refine specifications for semiconductor components.
- Implement and maintain verification environments, including testbenches, assertions, and coverage models.
- Identify, debug, and resolve complex functional and performance issues in pre-silicon designs.
- Automate verification processes to improve efficiency and scalability across multiple projects.
- Document verification methodologies, results, and recommendations for design improvements.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in semiconductor verification, including AI/ML-based validation techniques.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in design verification.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in semiconductor design verification, with a focus on digital IP/SoC.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog, UVM, and verification tools (e.g., Synopsys VCS, Cadence Xcelium).
- Strong understanding of digital design principles, RTL coding, and SoC architecture.
- Experience with coverage-driven verification, assertions (SVA), and formal verification.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Perl, or Tcl) for automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Prior experience in consumer electronics, IoT, or networking semiconductors is a plus.
