Responsibility
- Design, develop, and test high-voltage electrical systems for EVs and hybrid vehicles, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Lead diagnostic and repair operations for EV powertrains, battery systems, and charging infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate high-voltage components into vehicle architectures.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols for high-voltage system handling and maintenance.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and service technicians on EV systems.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in EV technology, battery management, and electrical engineering best practices.
- Develop and optimize firmware and software for high-voltage system controls and monitoring.
- Ensure all projects meet quality, performance, and reliability benchmarks through rigorous testing and validation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in EV or hybrid vehicle service, repair, or high-voltage system engineering.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of high-voltage battery systems, electric motors, inverters, and power electronics.
- Certification in EV safety protocols (e.g., HV safety training, ISO standards) is a plus.
- Proven experience with diagnostic tools, oscilloscopes, and EV-specific software (e.g., CAN bus analysis).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems under pressure.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to mentor teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., SAE, IEC, UL) for EV components and systems.
