Responsibility
- Develop and review AutoCAD drawings for structural steel components, ensuring accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and fabrication teams to optimize designs for manufacturability and cost-efficiency.
- Conduct structural analysis and calculations to validate the integrity and safety of steel frameworks.
- Oversee the production process, from material selection to final assembly, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality control.
- Prepare and present technical reports, shop drawings, and bill of materials (BOM) for client approval.
- Liaise with on-site construction teams to resolve design-related issues and provide technical support.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and AutoCAD advancements to enhance design efficiency.
- Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and international standards (e.g., AISC, Eurocode).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in structural steel design and AutoCAD drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D), Revit, or similar CAD software; familiarity with BIM is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of steel design principles, load calculations, and connection details.
- Experience with structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or SAP2000) is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in technical drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering blueprints.
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a bonus.
