Responsibility
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with business goals and industry best practices.
- Design, deploy, and manage security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection systems.
- Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
- Mentor and train engineering teams on security best practices, compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST), and incident response protocols.
- Oversee threat intelligence and monitoring to detect and respond to security incidents in real time.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams to integrate security-by-design principles into CI/CD pipelines and cloud architectures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, PDPA) and conduct regular audits to maintain certifications.
- Drive security awareness programs to educate employees and stakeholders on emerging threats and safe practices.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on infrastructure security, threat management, or governance.
- Proven expertise in security architectures (e.g., Zero Trust, SASE) and tools (e.g., Splunk, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto).
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS) and risk assessment methodologies.
- Experience leading incident response and forensic investigations for high-severity breaches.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation to enhance security operations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence stakeholders and drive security initiatives.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP are highly desirable.
