We are seeking a visionary leader with a passion for research, development, and implementation of advanced BMS solutions to drive the transition toward cleaner, more efficient energy systems.
Responsibility
- Lead and manage R&D projects focused on Battery Management Systems (BMS) for lithium-ion, sodium-ion, and other advanced battery chemistries.
- Design, develop, and optimize algorithms for state-of-charge (SOC), state-of-health (SOH), and thermal management in battery systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, researchers, and industry partners, to integrate BMS solutions into real-world applications.
- Conduct experimental testing, data analysis, and performance validation of battery systems under various conditions.
- Publish research findings in high-impact journals and present at international conferences to establish thought leadership.
- Mentor junior researchers and students, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in energy storage, battery technologies, and regulatory standards to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
- Develop proposals and secure funding for new research initiatives in clean energy and battery systems.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field with a focus on battery technologies or energy storage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D, preferably in Battery Management Systems, energy storage, or clean energy technologies.
- Proven track record of leading successful R&D projects from concept to implementation, with a portfolio of publications or patents.
- Strong expertise in battery modeling, simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, COMSOL), and embedded systems for BMS development.
- Experience with laboratory testing, prototyping, and data analysis for battery performance and safety.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) with strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IEC, UL) and regulatory requirements for battery systems is a plus.
