Responsibility
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Define and execute the technical vision and roadmap, aligning engineering efforts with business goals and customer needs.
- Drive operational excellence by optimizing development processes, implementing best practices, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to prioritize features, resolve technical challenges, and deliver scalable solutions.
- Champion agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and cloud-native architectures to enhance team productivity and system reliability.
- Monitor industry trends, evaluate emerging technologies, and recommend strategic improvements to maintain a competitive edge.
- Ensure robust security, compliance, and performance standards across all engineering initiatives.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional development within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven track record of leading engineering teams to deliver complex, scalable software solutions.
- Strong expertise in modern software development practices, including agile methodologies, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Passion for mentorship, team development, and fostering a positive engineering culture.
