Responsibility
- Assist in the design and drafting of piping systems using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD or PDMS.
- Support the preparation of technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for piping installations.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to review and optimize piping layouts for efficiency and compliance with marine standards.
- Participate in site inspections and surveys to ensure piping systems meet design and safety requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of material requisitions, cost estimates, and procurement activities for piping components.
- Conduct tests and inspections of piping systems to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, changes, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide technical support during the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of piping systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in piping design or marine engineering (fresh graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, PDMS, or similar) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong understanding of piping standards, codes, and marine regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
- Certification in piping design or marine engineering is a plus.
