Responsibility
- Design, configure, and deploy SCADA systems (e.g., Ignition, Siemens WinCC, Schneider Electric EcoStruxure) for industrial automation applications.
- Develop and program PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi) to control and monitor industrial processes.
- Create intuitive HMI (Human-Machine Interface) dashboards for real-time data visualization and operator control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SCADA/PLC systems with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and ERP platforms.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., IEC 61131, ISA-95).
- Optimize automation workflows to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance safety in plant operations.
- Provide technical support, training, and documentation for end-users and maintenance teams.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in Industry 4.0, IIoT, and edge computing to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in SCADA/PLC development, preferably in industrial environments (e.g., manufacturing, oil & gas, water treatment).
- Proficiency in SCADA software (Ignition, Wonderware, Citect) and PLC programming (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram).
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, OPC UA, Ethernet/IP).
- Experience with SQL databases, MQTT, and cloud-based IoT platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems (IEC 62443).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate with global teams.
