Responsibility
- Assist in the inspection and maintenance of substations and overhead contact systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Conduct routine patrols and visual inspections of railway power supply infrastructure.
- Document maintenance activities, inspections, and any identified issues in compliance with company protocols.
- Support the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies during all maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and maintenance logs for regulatory and internal review.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and safety awareness.
- Perform administrative tasks related to maintenance scheduling and inventory management.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an electrical, mechanical, or related engineering program.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, substations, or overhead contact systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions from senior engineers.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for documentation and reporting.
- Willingness to work in outdoor and on-site environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment is an advantage.
- Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and contribute to maintenance operations.
