Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain SAS programs to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources.
- Create and optimize SAS macros and scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
- Develop and enhance data models, reports, and dashboards using SAS tools (e.g., SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Studio, SAS BI).
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data integrity and accuracy in analytical outputs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
- Document SAS code, processes, and workflows for future reference and compliance.
- Stay updated with the latest SAS technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation.
- Provide technical support and training to junior team members and stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAS programming and development.
- Proficiency in SAS Base, SAS Macro, SAS SQL, and SAS ODS.
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with SAS Viya, SAS Enterprise Miner, or SAS Visual Analytics is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
