Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments to ensure seamless and automated release processes.
- Develop and enforce release governance policies to maintain consistency and quality across Salesforce environments (Sandbox, Production, etc.).
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployment workflows and reduce manual intervention.
- Monitor and optimize Salesforce deployment performance, troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements.
- Automate repetitive tasks (e.g., data migrations, metadata deployments) using scripting and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Copado, Gearset, or Salesforce DX).
- Ensure compliance with security and governance standards during deployments, including permission sets, profiles, and data integrity.
- Document DevOps processes, best practices, and deployment guidelines for internal teams.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce DevOps trends, tools, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development or administration, with at least 3 years specializing in Salesforce DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Copado, Gearset, or Salesforce DX.
- Proficiency in Salesforce metadata deployments, including change sets, Ant Migration Tool, or SFDX CLI.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce release governance, including environment management (Sandbox, Production) and version control (Git).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and deployment tasks.
- Familiarity with Agile/DevOps methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified DevOps Architect, Platform Developer I/II) are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, remote-first environment.
