As the gold standard for GMâs dealer network, our Global Sales Reporting team ensures accuracy, efficiency, and insights across dealer contracting, vehicle delivery, sales performance, and inventory management. Responsibility
- Develop and maintain global sales reporting dashboards and KPIs to track dealer performance, vehicle deliveries, and inventory levels.
- Analyze sales data trends to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with regional sales teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of dealer contracting and vehicle allocation.
- Automate and streamline reporting workflows using SQL, Power BI, or Tableau to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes by validating data integrity and resolving discrepancies.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to address business questions and provide data-backed recommendations to leadership.
- Partner with IT and data engineering teams to refine data pipelines and ensure seamless integration of sales systems.
- Train and mentor junior analysts on best practices in sales reporting and data visualization.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales operations, business analytics, or a similar role within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel (advanced), and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of sales metrics, dealer networks, and inventory management processes.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and CRM tools (Salesforce) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work in a global, cross-functional environment with minimal supervision.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required; additional languages are a plus.
