Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and penetrate new markets in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including shipping lines, freight forwarders, and multinational corporations.
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics solutions and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the logistics industry.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and business reviews to senior management.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive advantage.
- Represent Cardinal Global Logistics at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and networking opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- In-depth knowledge of logistics operations, including air freight, sea freight, and land transportation.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
