Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the company’s market share in food chemicals, raw materials, and life sciences across Indonesia.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry stakeholders to drive revenue growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including tender participation, contract negotiations, and product introductions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, logistics, and technical support) to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.
- Provide technical and commercial guidance to clients on product applications, specifications, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Food Science, Life Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in food ingredients, chemicals, or life sciences.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with fluency in English (Japanese language skills are a significant advantage).
- Deep understanding of Indonesia’s food and life sciences industry, including regulatory requirements and supply chain dynamics.
- Ability to travel frequently within Indonesia and occasionally internationally for client meetings and trade events.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and sales analytics tools.
