Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets in the Japanese market.
- Identify, engage, and convert high-potential leads into long-term clients through effective relationship-building and negotiation.
- Manage and grow key accounts by understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions that drive satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, and customer support) to align sales strategies with company objectives.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the Japanese-speaking business landscape.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Provide exceptional customer service to Japanese-speaking clients, ensuring timely and professional communication at all stages of the sales cycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in a multinational or Japanese market-focused environment.
- Fluency in Japanese (business level) and English (written and verbal) is mandatory.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track sales activities and manage pipelines.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events (if required).
