Responsibility
- Provide expert wine recommendations and guidance to customers, tailoring suggestions to their preferences and occasions.
- Drive sales by actively engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and offering personalized solutions.
- Conduct wine tastings and educational sessions for customers and staff to enhance product knowledge and appreciation.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of our wine portfolio, including regions, varietals, and pairing suggestions.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote special offers, events, and new arrivals.
- Ensure the wine display and storage areas are well-organized, visually appealing, and compliant with industry standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including hotels, restaurants, and retail partners.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the wine, beverage, or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of wines, including regions, production methods, and tasting techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence customers.
- Passion for customer service and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages, particularly Indonesian or other regional languages, are a plus.
- WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
