Responsibility

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to acquire new clients in the logistics and warehouse sector, with a focus on Japanese-speaking markets.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients in Japan and other target regions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Japanese-speaking clients through effective communication, presentations, and negotiations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design customized logistics and warehouse solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, contracts, and presentations in both English and Japanese.
  • Monitor sales performance, track KPIs, and provide regular reports to management on progress and areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the company’s services and expand its client base.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of at least 3 years in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the logistics or warehouse industry.
  • Fluency in Japanese (N2 level or higher) and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Strong understanding of logistics, warehouse operations, and supply chain management principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.
