Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in Penang/Singapore.
- Identify and engage with potential clients, understanding their technical requirements and proposing tailored solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to provide technical support and ensure solutions meet client specifications.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management, highlighting progress and challenges.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree or technical certification is a plus.
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in sales, business development, or a similar role within the engineering or manufacturing sector.
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to understand complex engineering solutions and their applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages, particularly Mandarin or Malay, are advantageous.
