As a Senior Sales Associate, you will be responsible for managing cash transactions, assisting customers with product inquiries, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. Responsibility
- Manage cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring all financial records are maintained.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selections, inquiries, and purchases.
- Train and mentor junior sales associates to ensure high standards of service and operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking merchandise to maintain a well-organized sales floor.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Promote sales and achieve targets by upselling and cross-selling products.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including cash handling and loss prevention.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to enhance the customer shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail or cashier role, preferably in a sports or consumer products environment.
- Strong numerical and cash handling skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Leadership qualities with experience in training or supervising junior staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in retail management are a plus.
