Responsibility
- Develop highly accurate Revit models and construction drawings for residential, commercial, and institutional projects adhering to Australian standards (NCC, AS 1100).
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to refine designs and resolve technical discrepancies.
- Prepare and revise shop drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D renderings with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and client specifications.
- Coordinate BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows to improve project efficiency and reduce errors.
- Review and mark up redline changes from consultants and incorporate feedback into final deliverables.
- Maintain organized project documentation and version control for all drawings and models.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior drafters and team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Revit Drafter/Architectural Technician, with proven experience working on Australian projects.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (2020 or later), AutoCAD, and other BIM tools (Navisworks, BIM 360 is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of Australian National Construction Code (NCC), AS 1100, and other relevant standards.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings with precision.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with international teams.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting tight deadlines.
- Experience with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom) and cloud-based file sharing.
- Portfolio showcasing Revit-based projects (preferably Australian) is highly advantageous.
