Responsibility
- Oversee the end-to-end revenue cycle process, ensuring timely and accurate submission of claims.
- Analyze and resolve claim denials, rejections, and underpayments to maximize reimbursement rates.
- Perform comprehensive audits of patient accounts to ensure compliance with billing regulations and payer contracts.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to accounts receivable and revenue cycle efficiency.
- Provide expert guidance to team members regarding complex coding issues and billing guidelines.
- Prepare regular financial reports and performance summaries for management review.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry changes, healthcare regulations, and payer policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience in Revenue Cycle Management or medical billing.
- Strong technical proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and medical billing software.
- In-depth understanding of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment while maintaining high accuracy.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
