Responsibility
- Provide on-site technical leadership for all 132kV electrical systems, ensuring compliance with national and international standards (e.g., PLN, IEC, IEEE).
- Design, review, and approve electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and protection coordination schemes for high-voltage installations.
- Oversee the commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of 132kV switchgear, transformers, and substation equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize system reliability and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of electrical projects.
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety audits to maintain a zero-incident work environment.
- Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and budget proposals for electrical infrastructure upgrades.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., P.Eng, CEng) is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in high-voltage electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or resident engineer role.
- Proven expertise in 132kV substation design, protection systems, and power distribution.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian electrical regulations (PLN standards) and international codes (IEC, IEEE).
- Experience with SCADA systems, relay coordination, and power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, PSS/E).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate to Denpasar, Bali and work on-site with occasional travel to other project locations.
