Responsibility
- Develop and maintain financial, operational, and ad-hoc reports using SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to support business decisions.
- Automate data collection, validation, and reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and executive teams to define KPIs and metrics aligned with business objectives.
- Create and present executive dashboards and data visualizations that simplify complex information for stakeholders.
- Ensure data integrity by implementing robust validation checks and troubleshooting discrepancies.
- Stay updated on industry best practices in data analytics and reporting tools to drive continuous improvement.
- Train and mentor junior analysts on reporting standards, tools, and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, or data analytics certifications) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in reporting, financial analysis, or business intelligence roles.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros), and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting principles.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data warehousing solutions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear business insights.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote or hybrid environment.
