Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive reliability testing on semiconductor components using advanced diagnostic tools and methodologies.
- Analyze failure modes and implement corrective actions to enhance product durability and performance.
- Develop and execute test plans, including accelerated life testing, environmental stress screening, and electrical characterization.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to identify and resolve reliability issues in production.
- Generate detailed technical reports and present findings to stakeholders, recommending improvements to design and processes.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards (e.g., JEDEC, AEC-Q).
- Monitor and trend reliability metrics, providing data-driven insights to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in semiconductor reliability engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in reliability engineering, preferably in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with reliability testing equipment (e.g., thermal chambers, vibration testers, electrical testers).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB, JMP, or LabVIEW) and statistical methods (e.g., Weibull analysis, DOE).
- Strong understanding of failure analysis techniques (e.g., SEM, FIB, EDX) and root cause analysis (RCA) methodologies.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as JEDEC, AEC-Q100/200, or ISO/TS 16949.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to document and present technical information clearly.
