As a BIM Modeler specializing in Air Conditioning, Mechanical, and Ventilation (ACMV) systems, you will leverage advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to create precise, efficient, and sustainable designs. Responsibility
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for ACMV systems using industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks).
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate ACMV designs seamlessly into overall project plans.
- Perform clash detection and resolution to ensure coordination between mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Generate accurate shop drawings, as-built models, and construction documents for ACMV installations.
- Conduct energy efficiency and performance analysis to optimize HVAC system designs.
- Ensure compliance with local and international building codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Participate in design reviews and coordination meetings to align BIM models with project requirements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ACMV-related BIM issues during construction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in BIM modeling for ACMV systems, preferably in industrial or large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360 or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, mechanical, and ventilation system design principles.
- Experience with clash detection, coordination, and model validation in a collaborative BIM environment.
- Familiarity with local and international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, SMACNA, ISO 19650).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
