Responsibility
- Monitor and control CCPP and auxiliary systems to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, and balance-of-plant equipment.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO, local energy authorities).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute shutdowns, startups, and emergency response procedures.
- Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Prepare and maintain detailed logs, reports, and documentation for operational activities, incidents, and maintenance records.
- Lead or assist in training and mentoring junior engineers and operators on best practices and safety procedures.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures or operational deviations and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in power plant operations, preferably in gas turbines, CCPP, or combined heat and power (CHP) systems.
- Proven knowledge of DCS (Distributed Control Systems), PLCs, and SCADA systems used in power generation.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and electrical systems as applied to power plants.
- Certifications in safety (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) or power plant operations are highly advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing power generation in Indonesia or Southeast Asia.
- Willingness to work in shift patterns, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by operational needs.
