Responsibility
- Lead the design and engineering of RCC dams for upper and lower reservoir systems
- Conduct comprehensive structural analysis and stability assessments for dam projects
- Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and construction methodologies
- Collaborate with geotechnical engineers to evaluate foundation conditions and material properties
- Oversee quality control processes during construction to ensure compliance with design standards
- Prepare detailed engineering reports and presentations for stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on dam engineering best practices
- Stay current with international dam safety regulations and emerging RCC technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural or geotechnical engineering
- Minimum 7 years of experience in dam design, with specific expertise in RCC dams
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred
- Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, PLAXIS, and finite element analysis tools
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian and international dam safety regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for complex engineering challenges
- Demonstrated project management experience in large-scale infrastructure projects
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus
