Responsibility
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues, and perform repairs or adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, service logs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute maintenance schedules without disrupting operations.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Recommend upgrades or replacements for outdated equipment to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly to minimize downtime and production losses.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in preventive maintenance, preferably in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, PLCs, and industrial machinery.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools (e.g., CMMS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., OSHA) is a plus.
