Responsibility
- Oversee and manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including designers, contractors, and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical evaluations to support project planning and execution.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present technical reports, project updates, and recommendations to senior management and clients.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays or cost overruns.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in the offshore or energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management methodologies, and industry standards.
- Proficient in using engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations in the engineering industry.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or relevant engineering disciplines is a plus.
