Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on cable infrastructure, equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and structural issues in cable systems, implementing effective repair solutions.
- Develop and execute maintenance schedules, documentation, and reports to track system health and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement upgrades or modifications to existing cable networks.
- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential failures and recommend proactive measures.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements in all maintenance and repair activities.
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment, coordinating procurement as needed.
- Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and field technicians.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical systems maintenance, preferably in the cable, telecommunications, or infrastructure sector.
- Strong knowledge of cable infrastructure, including fiber optics, copper cables, and associated mechanical components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and CAD software for system analysis and design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with OSHA, ISO, or industry-specific safety standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Willingness to travel to various sites in Bali (e.g., Canggu, Ubud, Kuta) as required.
