Responsibility
- Design and develop automated warehouse systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation technologies into existing warehouse processes.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed automation projects.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of automated warehouse solutions.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for automated systems to ensure minimal downtime.
- Develop and implement maintenance protocols to prolong the lifespan of automated equipment.
- Train warehouse staff on the use and maintenance of new automated systems.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in warehouse automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in warehouse automation, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of automation technologies, such as conveyor systems, robotic picking, and automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS).
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
