Responsibility
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds, adhering to radiation safety protocols and hospital guidelines.
- Ensure high-quality imaging by accurately positioning patients, adjusting equipment settings, and verifying image clarity before submission.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to interpret imaging results and provide preliminary findings when necessary.
- Maintain and calibrate radiographic equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Educate patients on imaging procedures, addressing concerns and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Document and archive patient records and imaging data in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on emerging imaging technologies and best practices through continuous professional development.
- Participate in quality assurance programs to maintain the highest standards of diagnostic accuracy and patient care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiography, Medical Imaging, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience as a Radiographer, preferably in a hospital or diagnostic center.
- Valid professional certification or license to practice radiography in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Proficient in operating advanced imaging equipment, including digital X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound machines.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols, anatomical positioning, and image interpretation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and electronic health records (EHR) is a plus.
