Responsibility
- Prepare and set up hemodialysis machines and related equipment for patient treatments.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of dialysis machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and manage inventory of dialysis supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Reprocess and sterilize dialyzers according to established protocols and safety standards.
- Assist nursing staff with patient setup and monitoring during dialysis sessions.
- Document equipment maintenance, supply usage, and reprocessing activities accurately.
- Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with dialysis equipment and coordinate repairs as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in a related technical or healthcare field (e.g., Medical Technology, Nursing Assistant).
- Previous experience as a dialysis technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of hemodialysis equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and inventory management.
- Certification in dialysis technology or willingness to undergo training is a plus.
