Responsibility
- Assist patients with daily activities, including mobility, personal hygiene, and meal preparation.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist in the fitting and adjustment of prosthetic devices under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on proper care techniques and the use of prosthetic devices.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in healthcare assistance is a plus.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in patient care or prosthetic services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions from healthcare professionals.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and infection control practices.
- Physical stamina and the ability to assist patients with mobility and other physical tasks.
