Responsibility
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds, with precision and accuracy.
- Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles to protect patients and staff.
- Operate and maintain advanced radiographic equipment, troubleshooting technical issues as needed.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nurses to interpret imaging results and provide critical insights for patient diagnosis.
- Maintain meticulous patient records and imaging data in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Educate patients on imaging procedures, addressing concerns and ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
- Participate in quality assurance programs to uphold the highest standards of imaging accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay updated on the latest radiography techniques, technologies, and best practices through continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiography, Medical Imaging, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience as a Radiographer, preferably in a hospital or diagnostic center.
- Valid radiography license or certification (e.g., ARRT, or equivalent international certification).
- Proven expertise in operating CT, MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound equipment.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety, patient positioning, and image optimization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and digital imaging software is a plus.
