Responsibility
- Lead cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting for construction projects.
- Manage procurement processes, including tendering, contractor selection, and negotiation.
- Oversee contract administration, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize financial exposure.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to optimize project costs and timelines.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Implement value engineering techniques to enhance project efficiency and sustainability.
- Mentor junior quantity surveyors and provide guidance on best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in quantity surveying, with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience working on international or large-scale construction projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations and market conditions.
- Professional certification (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is highly desirable.
