Responsibility
- Oversee cost control and budget management for civil infrastructure projects, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies to optimize project outcomes.
- Conduct detailed cost estimations, valuations, and financial forecasting for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Manage contract administration, including variations, claims, and dispute resolution to minimize financial risks.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular reports on cost performance, risks, and commercial issues.
- Lead negotiations with contractors, suppliers, and clients to secure favorable terms and agreements.
- Mentor and guide junior QS staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field (RICS or equivalent certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in quantity surveying, with at least 5 years in a managerial role for civil infrastructure projects.
- Proven expertise in cost control, contract management, and claims administration for large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian construction regulations, FIDIC contracts, and international standards.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with fluency in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in Southeast Asia or Indonesia is highly desirable.
