Are you a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with a passion for construction and cost management? Our client, a leading construction firm, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Bali, Indonesia. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing project budgets, conducting cost estimates, and ensuring financial efficiency across all construction phases. Your expertise will directly contribute to the successful delivery of residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Based in Badung (covering areas like Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, and Kuta), you’ll collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to drive project success. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!
Responsibility
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering to optimize project costs.
- Negotiate and administer contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Monitor and control project expenditures, ensuring adherence to budget constraints.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and material cost analysis from drawings and specifications.
- Provide cost advice on design changes, variations, and risk assessments.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and architects to align financial and technical objectives.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Proficient in cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, WinQS, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, tendering processes, and procurement strategies.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
