Responsibility
- Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on architectural and engineering drawings.
- Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to determine time, cost, and labor requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure accurate and comprehensive cost assessments.
- Conduct material and labor cost research to ensure estimates are up-to-date and competitive.
- Support the preparation of bid proposals and tender documents.
- Assist in tracking project costs and comparing actual expenses with estimated budgets.
- Utilize software tools such as MS Office, CAD, and PlanSwift to create and manage cost estimates.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on cost-related matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in cost estimation, quantity surveying, or project management within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic knowledge of CAD or PlanSwift.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and industry standards is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
