Responsibility
- Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates for MEPS components, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering to optimize project budgets without compromising quality.
- Negotiate and administer subcontractor and supplier contracts, ensuring competitive pricing and timely deliveries.
- Monitor project expenditures, track variations, and provide monthly cost reports to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to align MEPS designs with budget constraints.
- Perform risk assessments and implement cost-control measures to mitigate financial overruns.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and client specifications.
- Lead final account settlements and dispute resolution for MEPS-related claims.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field; professional certification (e.g., RICS, PQS) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with at least 3 years specializing in MEPS.
- Proven track record in cost planning, tendering, and contract administration for large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, WinQS, or Primavera) and BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks).
- Strong knowledge of MEPS systems, international construction standards, and Indonesian building codes.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Mandarin or Indonesian is advantageous.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines.
