Responsibility
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for interior fit-out projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Conduct material takeoffs and quantity assessments from architectural and design drawings.
- Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure optimal pricing and terms for high-quality finishes and materials.
- Monitor project expenditures, track variations, and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to align cost plans with design intent and client expectations.
- Assess value engineering opportunities to optimize costs without compromising quality or aesthetics.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, contracts, and industry standards for fit-out projects.
- Manage procurement schedules and coordinate deliveries to meet project timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on interior fit-out projects (residential, commercial, or hospitality).
- Proficient in cost estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar) and Microsoft Excel for financial modeling.
- Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction methods specific to high-end interiors.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Southeast Asia or international markets is a plus.
- Familiarity with Bali’s construction regulations and supplier networks is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings for fit-out scopes.
