Responsibility
- Conduct thorough on-site inspections of residential construction projects at various stages (foundation, framing, electrical, plumbing, finishing, etc.) to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and local building codes.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical documents to verify alignment with project requirements.
- Document inspection findings, including deficiencies, non-compliance issues, and corrective actions, and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and engineers to address quality concerns and implement solutions promptly.
- Monitor material quality and workmanship to ensure adherence to Summarecon’s standards and industry best practices.
- Perform final inspections before project handover to confirm all punch list items are resolved and the property meets occupancy requirements.
- Stay updated on local building regulations, safety standards, and industry trends to ensure inspections are current and comprehensive.
- Provide guidance and training to junior inspectors or site personnel on quality control procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A diploma with relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction inspection, quality control, or a similar role, preferably in residential or high-rise projects.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and shop drawings.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian building codes, SNI standards, and local regulations in Bali.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to travel to various project sites across Bali and work in outdoor/field conditions.
- Certifications in construction inspection (e.g., ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001) are a plus.
