Responsibility
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for interior fit-out projects, including materials, labor, and subcontractor costs.
- Lead tender processes, including bid evaluations, negotiations, and contractor selection to ensure competitive and high-quality proposals.
- Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising design integrity.
- Manage contract administration, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to align cost plans with design specifications and timelines.
- Identify and mitigate cost risks while ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, material costs, and construction methodologies in Bali’s interior design sector.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on interior fit-out and tender management.
- Proven track record in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and contract negotiation for high-end projects.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, Candy, or similar) and MS Excel for financial modeling.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, local building codes, and procurement processes in Indonesia.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills with fluency in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with sustainable and luxury interior materials and their cost implications.
