Responsibility
- Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for interior design and fit-out projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
- Negotiate and administer contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure competitive pricing and terms.
- Monitor project expenditures, track variations, and provide regular financial updates to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with design teams to align cost plans with creative vision and client expectations.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Lead procurement processes, including tendering, bidding, and supplier selection for materials and services.
- Provide expert advice on cost-saving strategies, material selections, and sustainable building practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a strong background in interior design, fit-out, or construction projects.
- Proven expertise in cost estimation software (e.g., WinQS, CostX) and proficiency in MS Excel for financial modeling.
- In-depth knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and industry standards (e.g., FIDIC, JCT).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Southeast Asia or on international projects is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present actionable insights.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is an advantage.
