Responsibility
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects in Singapore.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide financial advice to stakeholders on project viability.
- Negotiate and administer contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure favorable terms.
- Monitor project expenditures, track variations, and implement cost-control measures to prevent overruns.
- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for financial and contractual risks.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to align financial plans with technical requirements.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and financial forecasts for senior management review.
- Ensure compliance with local and international construction regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field (RICS accreditation is a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably with MNCs or Singapore-based projects.
- Proficient in cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, WinQS, or Primavera) and MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC, JCT, or SIA contracts and dispute resolution mechanisms.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills in English.
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with Singaporeās construction market and regulatory environment.
