Responsibility
- Lead cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting for large-scale interior fit-out projects.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to protect project margins.
- Mentor and supervise junior quantity surveyors, fostering professional growth and team efficiency.
- Collaborate with project managers to align cost control measures with design and construction timelines.
- Prepare and present detailed cost analyses, value engineering reports, and financial forecasts to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies in all financial and contractual matters.
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce project costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on interior fit-outs or high-end construction projects.
- Proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar budgets and delivering projects on time and within scope.
- Strong proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., WinQS, CostX) and Microsoft Excel for financial modeling.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations and market conditions (preferred).
- Professional certification (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is a plus.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to evolving project requirements.
